NISSAN Motor Co. Ltd. has just revealed the latest addition to its series of concept vehicles, the Nissan Hyper Punk. This futuristic compact crossover is designed to appeal to content creators, influencers, artists, and those with a penchant for style and innovation. The Nissan Hyper Punk will physically debut at the Japan Mobility Show on October 25.
To build anticipation for the show, a digital 3D billboard named Cross Shinjuku Vision, located in Tokyo’s Shinjuku district, is currently showcasing all four EV concept cars: Nissan Hyper Urban, Nissan Hyper Adventure, Nissan Hyper Tourer, and Nissan Hyper Punk. This visual exhibition will continue until October 25.
Furthermore, starting on October 25, these concept vehicles will be accessible in the online game Fortnite under the name “Electrify the World,” allowing users to further explore and enjoy these exceptional vehicles.
The Nissan Hyper Punk stands out with its functional and stylish exterior, designed to seamlessly blend the virtual and physical worlds and encourage self-expression. It features a V2X system that enables users to run and charge their devices on the go while sharing the vehicle’s energy with collaborators and local community events.
Inside, the interior combines digital and art elements, with origami-inspired design, reflecting Japanese aesthetics. Onboard cameras capture the surroundings and use AI to transform them into manga-style scenery or graphic patterns based on the owner’s preferences. These images are then projected onto a three-screen display around the driver in the cockpit, creating a unique fusion of reality and the metaverse.
As a mobile creative studio, the cabin offers seamless internet connectivity, linking to occupants’ devices and creative equipment, enabling users to access information or create on the move. Thanks to AI and headrest biosensors, the Nissan Hyper Punk can detect the driver’s mood and automatically select the right music and lighting, enhancing the driver’s energy and creativity.
The exterior design features multifaceted and polygonal surfaces with shifting silver tones that change based on the viewing angle and lighting conditions. This bold aesthetic defies minimalism and reflects the user’s desire for self-expression and Nissan’s progressive approach to introducing new technologies and designs.
With its stable design, compact overhangs, and large 23-inch wheels, the Nissan Hyper Punk is suitable for both city and off-road driving. The polygonal-shaped headlights, tail lamps, and rear signature are seamlessly integrated into the body surface, further accentuating the uniqueness of this vehicle.
In essence, the Nissan Hyper Punk is a vehicle designed to inspire creativity, whether it’s for brainstorming or publishing content.
