GAC Motors runs global training program

GAC Motor Philippines has announced the launch of the GAC International Sales & Service Way (GSSW) program in the country.

This comprehensive training initiative aims to improve customer satisfaction across all touchpoints, encompassing sales, aftersales service, and overall operations management.

The program’s implementation follows GAC Motor Philippines’ strong first half of 2024, solidifying its position as the third-leading Chinese automotive brand in the Philippines as of June. Astara Philippines, the official distributor of GAC vehicles in the country, is committed to exceeding sales targets while simultaneously elevating service delivery across all GAC dealerships.

Developed by GAC International, the GSSW program ensures a consistently high standard of customer interaction throughout the entire ownership journey. The program focuses on three key areas of enhanced customer experience, standardized processes and a commitment to excellence.

The training program instills a culture of excellence among staff, guaranteeing that customer needs are met promptly and professionally.

The Philippines is among the first ten markets worldwide to implement the GSSW program, highlighting the country’s role in establishing a global benchmark for customer service in the GAC network. Representatives from GAC’s international training team conducted rigorous coaching sessions, ensuring a thorough understanding of the program.

GAC Sta. Rosa, the newest GAC dealership in the Philippines, has been chosen as the pilot location for the program. This rollout marks the initial step towards nationwide implementation across all GAC dealerships.

“The GAC International Sales & Service Way program aims to establish a global standard across all GAC dealerships in the Philippines,” stated Todd Yao, an international trainer from the GAC Operations Training Team. “Through this training, we ensure that customers receive a consistently high level of service, characterized by standardized processes, a customer-first approach, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.”

Franz Decloedt, Brand Head of GAC Motor at Astara Philippines, emphasized the core principles and long-term impact of the GSSW program. “The GAC International Sales & Service Way is not just a program; it’s a core value that guides our operations,” he stated.
