Amid intense competition in the pickup segment, Ford Philippines ended 2024 with the Ford Ranger leading its retail sales of 13,812 units, a 4 percent growth from the previous year.  Total Ford sales last year reached 27,997 units.

Electrifying 2025

Looking forward, Ford Philippines is set to kick off its electrification journey, introducing a suite of electrified products that will boost its vehicle portfolio. Ford Philippines is expected to leverage its expertise in electrified vehicles to cater to the growing demand in the market.

A new Ford learning facility will be built to enhance the technical expertise of Ford technicians, further improving the ownership experience. The new facility will also allow for adequate space for Electric Vehicle (EV) training programs and non-technical training for dealer sales and service personnel.

“2025 is going to be a big year for Ford Philippines as we are finally bringing our suite of electrified products to the market,”  Ford Managing Director  Pedro Simoes says.

Last year, Ford Philippines launched three iconic vehicles: the Ford Mustang, Ford Bronco, and the Ford Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6.

It  unleashed the latest Mustang in two variants: the 5.0L GT Premium Fastback, with a starting retail price of P3,999,000, and the 2.3L EcoBoost® Premium Fastback, which starts at P3,499,000. Both variants of the Mustang are equipped with sophisticated control strategies that increase comfort while expanding the sports coupe’s performance limits on the road or on the racetrack.

A legend reborn

Meanwhile, the legendary Ford Bronco entered the Philippine market with its rugged off-road capability and striking aesthetics. Ford made the All-New Bronco in Outer Banks variant available with Sasquatch Package at a starting retail price of P4,998,000.

Finally, Ford Philippines responded to the growing clamor among off-road enthusiasts by bringing the new Ford Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 to the country. The Raptor 3.0L V6 is pure power and performance, with a 3.0L V6 twin-turbo EcoBoost engine that produces 397PS max power and 583Nm max torque mated to a performance-tuned 10-speed automatic transmission with an anti-lag system intended for off-road use only.

Beyond introducing iconic vehicles last year, Ford Philippines enhanced the ownership experience with several service offerings.

In 2024, Ford Philippines also welcomed a significant leadership change as Pedro Simoes assumed the role of managing director effective December 1st. Simoes has a proven track record of success in driving brand growth, market expansion, and collaborative leadership style.

Before joining Ford Philippines, he was part of the Ford Middle East team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), serving as marketing, commercial vehicle, and fleet director. Before that, Pedro was retail marketing and revenue management director, working with markets in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific.
