Ford PH opens new, bigger parts distribution center

FORD Philippines is expanding its parts availability and improving service by opening a new, larger parts distribution center. This move aims to enhance the customer ownership experience.

During a get-together with media at his Alabang home, Mike Breen, the Managing Director of Ford Philippines, announced the recently opened facility and highlighted the company’s commitment to providing a superior Ford ownership experience. He highlighted that the operational new parts facility will ensure quicker and more reliable access to vehicle parts for both dealers and customers, enhancing customer satisfaction and trust in the Ford brand.

“Our commitment to delivering a next-generation Ford ownership experience remains a priority. With our new Ford parts facility now fully operational, both our dealers and customers will have better and faster access to parts,” says Breen. “We look forward to giving our customers more confidence and peace of mind in owning a Ford on the back of improved parts availability.”

The new facility boasts of a modern building and racking infrastructure, with operations managed by DB Schenker, a global leader in logistics solutions and supply chain management.

The new facility is located in Calamba, Laguna, and spans over 13,000 square meters, doubling the size of the previous center. With increased storage capacity, it can now house up to 100,000 vehicle parts. This expansion significantly enhances Ford Philippines’ ability to supply parts to its dealerships across the country, ensuring that customers can get the parts they need promptly.

Equipped with eight inbound and outbound docks, the new center streamlines the process of receiving and dispatching vehicle parts, making operations more efficient. Furthermore, the center supports same-day deliveries to dealerships in Metro Manila and nearby regions, and daily deliveries to locations in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
