Paris, France, June 6th 2022 — VinFast will officially showcase its Pininfarina-designed VF 8 and VF 9 in Europe for the first time at the International Electric Vehicle Symposium & Exhibition (EVS35), Oslo, Norway on June 11-15. At the European Premiere, VinFast will also announce its planned sales and service locations — VinFast Stores — in German, French and Dutch markets.
The International Electric Vehicle Symposium & Exhibition is considered the most important conference and meeting venue for the electric vehicle (EV) industry and its suppliers in Europe. This is the premier networking event for global policy makers, industry and technology representatives, research communities and NGOs from around the world.
At EVS35, VinFast will outline its plan for sales and customer service locations – VinFast Stores – in Germany, France and the Netherlands. A VinFast Stores network incorporated with online technologies will ensure a seamless and convenient experience for European customers.
VinFast will also provide a keynote speech focusing on the role of electromobility as a means of decarbonising European transport for the benefit of society and the environment, and explain VinFast’s commitment to a more sustainable future for all.
Attending EVS35 is VinFast’s next step in its market development strategy, contributing to strongly driving the movement of the electric vehicle revolution in Europe.
Through the exhibition, VinFast will showcase its two premium electric SUV models — VF 8 and VF 9 to European consumers for the first time. It is an opportunity for European customers to explore the vehicle interior, exterior and learn more about the smart features.
These two eSUV models carry distinctive hallmarks of the European automotive industry. The impressive and unique design was made by world-renowned Italian studio — Pininfarina. The Level 2+ advanced driver assistance system, and Level 3-4 autonomous driving features for future models, was developed by ZF – Germany’s leading mobility technology company. VinFast’s 90% automated production line has the contributions of leading European partners such as ABB, Bosch, Durr, etc.
VinFast continues to develop its partnerships in these markets, not only in manufacturing and technology, but also in financing services, charging solutions, customer services and market development solutions.
The reservation program for the VF 8 and VF 9 models has been implemented in the German, French and Dutch markets since January 2022. Both models have just completed the testing program in various weather conditions and high speed testing in Sweden and Spain. First European deliveries of both cars, in Eco and Plus specification, are expected in the second half of 2022.
