DONGFENG Commercial Electric Vehicles has made its official entry to the Philippines by partnering with Diamond Auto Group EV Corporation (DAGEV). The collaboration is pivotal for the Diamond Auto Group well-known for its distributorship of Mitsubishi vehicles.
Dongfeng, is a globally recognized Chinese vehicle manufacturer. It is involved in a joint venture with Nissan called the Dongfeng Motor Company Limited. The commercial vehicle group is part of the larger Dongfeng Motor Corporation which has established a widespread presence across more than 100 countries, encompassing regions such as Europe, the Middle East, South America, Africa, and now, the Philippines.
The array of electric vehicle offerings from Dongfeng EV spans a comprehensive range of light commercial vehicles. This includes the Rich EV, an electric pickup generating 161 horsepower, 420 Nm of torque, and an impressive 350-kilometer range. Additionally, the EC36, a passenger van with 80 horsepower and a 300-kilometer range, further enriches the lineup.
For cargo-centric requirements, there is the EV30 panel van, which boasts 94 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque, and the EC35, equipped with 80 horsepower, 200 Nm of torque, and a 300-kilometer range. Stepping up in size, the EC31 light-duty cab & chassis (80 horsepower, 200 Nm, 300-kilometer range), the EV35 medium-sized cab & chassis (134 horsepower, 230 Nm, 280-kilometer range).
Concluding the range, the EV45 is equipped to carry a substantial payload of 2,200 kilograms, with an engine outputting 161hp and 320 Nm of torque. Its battery offers an impressive range of 350 kilometers.
