The City of Naga has always been known for advocating eco-friendly initiatives such as green and sustainable programs for the community. One such initiative was the introduction of one hundred (100) initial franchises for e-trikes in 2016. With the initial objective of introducing the cleaner and definitely much better technology to its constituents, the local government also saw livelihood opportunities for the community.

BrenTech.ph formally turned over the first batch to URTrike units to the Hon. City Mayor Nelson S. Legacion and City Councilor Doc. Jessy Alvios. Also in attendance were the drivers and families of Metro Naga Electric Service Transport Cooperative.
The new owners were eager than ever to try out the URTrikes which boast of better specifications that offer more benefits than previous units. One such benefit is Star 8 URTrike units capacity for whole day operations, capable of plying multiple routes on a single charge.
