The first of its kind gathering demonstrates a groundbreaking collaboration between leading ASEAN energy storage and electric vehicle associations, including Singapore Battery Consortium (SBC), the National Center for Sustainable Transportation Technology (NCSTT) from Indonesia, and the Thailand Energy Storage Technology Association (TESTA). The conference aims to offer individuals interested in the electrification of transport and energy storage from renewable energy an opportunity to stay updated with the latest trends and developments.
“This is where the Battery Circular Economy comes in, a new concept that optimizes the value of batteries throughout their lifecycle, from design to disposal. Battery Circular Economy not only addresses environmental concerns but also presents significant economic opportunities for businesses that embrace circular practices,” the 1st ASEAN Battery & EV Tech Conference press statement indicated.

Developing batteries with circular principles requires innovative design and production methods that prioritize durability, repairability, and recyclability. The 1st ABEVTC will also cover the solutions and advancements for the next-generation high-performance Li batteries
