Another successful run for the Manila Auto Salon and Custom Truck Show

“A RESOUNDING success!” said Sophie de los Santos, Tradeshow International, Inc. boss and organizer of the 2023 Motul Manila Auto Salon, held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City from November 16 to 19.

De los Santos said that the aftermarket is back on is feet as exemplified by the showcases of the latest automotive design, color, suspension and engine trends, as well as innovations, and custom builds. The event drew over 100,000 car and truck enthusiasts eager to witness the latest offerings from the automotive industry.

Spanning four halls, the event showcases an impressive array of vehicles catering to diverse tastes, ranging from vintage classics and 90s JDM legends to high-end exotics and purpose-built 4×4 rigs. Luxuriant Group takes the spotlight, presenting its aftermarket lineup featuring Sailun Tire, RoadX Tires, Giti Tires, and Sata tool brands, alongside GWM vehicles like the Ora 03 EV, Tank 300, Haval H6, Jolion, and the Cannon pick-up truck.

Motul, a key event partner, commands attention with an expansive booth featuring remarkable builds from Angie King of Car Porn Racing. Notable displays include Porsche 911s, a Skyline drift truck, the Corvette “Black Manta,” and the RWB Victoria, equipped with an aero kit optimized for time attack battles and the four-rotor, twin-turbo powered RX7 drift car.

Motul’s booth also showcases its latest products and offers visitors the chance to experience sim racing rigs with opportunities to win exciting prizes. Import Hookup, Second Skin Industries, and Alex Car Restoration add a touch of racing, art, and ultra-luxury to the mix, featuring notable displays like the Ferrari 458 GT3, Mercedes SLS-AMG GT3, and a trio of unique Porsches with special graphics.

Custom car builders and enthusiasts displayed their impressive creations, showcasing the creativity and skill of the Philippine automotive scene. The event featured a wide variety of custom cars, from classic restorations to modern performance builds.

Various automotive aftermarket companies presented their products and services, ranging from performance upgrades to car detailing supplies. Attendees were able to find a wide variety of products and services to help them personalize their vehicles.
