AITO: Next-gen luxury NEV lands in Manila

The luxury vehicle segment has long been a stronghold of European car brands, such as Audi, Bentley, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Range Rover and Rolls-Royce, mainly because of the prestige, tradition, and recognition that these brands carry. However, a new premium automotive brand, AITO, recently surpassed established European legacy brands in China’s premium New Energy Vehicle (NEV) segment. Citing a Bloomberg report released on May 19, 2025, AITO confirmed that the AITO M9 has solidified its position in the NEV market in 2024, and outpacing BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
