THE Philippine automotive landscape is set to witness an unplanned convergence of automotive tradition and innovation as the CAMPI Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) and the EVAP Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (EVAP) run practically back-to-back this October.
The Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) returns for its 9th year at the World Trade Center Metro Manila from October 24-27, while the 12th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit, the biggest annual exhibition and conference focused on promoting electric vehicles runs from October 24 to 26 at the nearby SMX Convention Center.
The CAMPI motorshow is a four-day event that promises to bring in more than 15 of the country’s top automotive brand s to showcase their newest products and innovations that will help redefine the future of the industry.
The theme for this year’s PIMS is “Dare. Drive. The Future Redefined.” signifying CAMPI’s aim to unify the company’s premier brands in the automotive industry as it dares to navigate in the mobility revolution. “As we face new challenges, CAMPI stands at the forefront of this shift in mobility by providing equitable solutions to the transportation needs of every Filipino,” Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI) President Atty. Rommel Gutierrez explains.
The PEVS 2024 theme, “Spark Change, Drive Electric” ignites a powerful call to action for a transformative shift in transportation. It underscores the urgency to launch a movement for widespread electric vehicle (EV) adoption, ultimately propelling the country towards a more sustainable future.
The seemingly unplanned collaboration between the two-events benefit the market because of the proximity of the locations and the dates. While CAMPI’s 9th PIMS celebrates the diversity and innovation of traditional vehicles and industry, the 12th EV Summit showcases the exciting potential of electric mobility. By attending both events, visitors can gain valuable insights into the current state of the automotive market and the future trends that are shaping the industry.
“We are thrilled for the return of the 9th Philippine International Motor Show this October,” says “The industry has shifted immensely in the last 2 years, so through this motorshow, we will dare to drive in bringing the best and most exciting PIMS yet.”
