The winners will be selected and announced at Bentley’s Year in Infrastructure (YII) 2019 Conference in Singapore on October 24, 2019.

San Gabriel combined-cycle natural gas-fired power plant was designed by Siemens Corporation and owned by the Philippine First Gen Corporation. The 414-MW power plant is known to be the most efficient natural gas-fired plant in Southeast Asia as it applies Siemens Asset Performance Management systems.

It utilizes Siemens’ SCC6-8000H combined-cycle gas turbine, which is designed to have a combined-cycle efficiency rating greater than 60 percent and offers operational flexibility.

Last August Bentley Systems announced that the power plant is one of the finalists in the YII 2019 Awards program in the category of Utilities and Industrial Asset Performance.
In 2017, Manila Water Company, Inc. was a finalist from the country shortlisted in the YII Awards. The group presented a natural calamity risk resiliency and mitigation master plan.

The water management and routing design master plan envisioned disaster preparedness and proposed infrastructure that would contain and route water to adequately supply the main filtration lines from the various reservoirs even after a major earthquake. It was one of three finalists in the Building Information Modelling (BIM) advancements in water networks.

The annual awards program honors the extraordinary work of Bentley software users advancing infrastructure design, construction, and operations throughout the world. Twelve independent jury panels of distinguished industry experts selected the 54 finalists from 571 nominations submitted by more than 440 organizations in more than 60 countries.
