Recognizing the significant growth opportunity for e-commerce in The Philippines, HSBC Philippines recently launched Omni Collect, a fully integrated, Application Programming Interface (API)-based payment solution for e-commerce, supporting multiple on-line and offline payment options for customers, and delivering valuable transactional data through HSBC’s global digital platform, HSBCnet.
Omni Collect is designed to streamline the way companies support digital payments, allowing the adaption to changes in customer behavior. The solution offers a simpler and faster integration journey through HSBC’s Single API connectivity and delivers instant notification of payments, including data analysis via HSBC’s Omni Collect Portal.
“We have seen significant growth in e-commerce in The Philippines, especially during the pandemic, resulting in an exponential shift in the adoption and use of digital payments by both individuals and businesses” according to Art Tanseco, Head of Global Payments Solutions for HSBC Philippines.
“Some clients are maintaining multiple third-party relationships just to be able to provide their customers with choice. This increases the effort in managing multiple providers, increases acquiring costs, and complicates reconciliation and re-dress of customer transactions. At HSBC, we can provide a fully integrated and comprehensive solution to enable business growth through e-commerce,” he added.
