Citi has announced a NextGen programme in Japan, Asia North and Australia and Asia South targeted at the next generation of leaders across its Markets Sales business in the region.
With close to 100 people who have signed up, NextGen is a mentorship program designed to support Markets Sales AVPs and VPs with their career growth and represents a significant opportunity for employee engagement and professional development, with a focus on four major pillars: Mentorship, Networking, Growth and Learning.
Mentorship allows these future leaders to connect and learn from senior leaders throughout the region. The mentee-led mentorship sessions will help juniors navigate opportunities and challenges.
The second pillar is Networking which provides a launchpad to build relationships with peers through targeted events and initiatives, as well as support cross-selling and internal mobility.
The program also allows Growth to develop and cultivate soft and technical skills through internally and externally-driven workshops.
Topics may include innovation, public speaking, and leadership.
Lastly, encouraging ongoing Learning through industry and job-specific training, including through continuing the Asia Markets Teach-In Series.
