SITEL recently opened Sitel Tarlac 3, its 14th customer experience center located at the Robinsons Luisita Complex which highlights the latest innovations in workspace technology, design aesthetic and amenities.

Cher Retirado, Sitel Asia Pacific project management office director, said associates spend so much time in the office that the business process outsourcing company guaranteed they will have a space conducive for productivity and growth — a workplace they can call their second home.

The site provides ample spaces for employees to interact, work, collaborate, brainstorm and innovate.

Olivier Camino, Sitel Group founder and chief operating officer, said following the opening of the third site, “the fourth site is just close to that and we’ll be ready soon.”

“The new site will welcome roughly 1,200 people, which is something very important for us,” Camino said.

In 2020, he said the company hopes to welcome a total of about 5,000 associates in the province.

Sitel’s story is about growing the company in line with its commitment to support the development of the country, as well as to give back to communities to ensure that everyone will work and live well together in this environment.

Ravi Iyengar, Sitel chief operating officer for India, Philippines, Australia and New Zealand, said the company has experienced tremendous growth in the region and has recruited highly skilled local talents with strong customer service skills and aptitude for complex outsourcing processes and emerging technologies.

From three clients, the company is now serving eight global and local logos out of its Tarlac facilities.

Haidee Enriquez, Sitel chief people officer for Philippines, Australia and New Zealand, said the Sitel Academy Hub in Tarlac provides free training to near-hire candidates and this year alone, it hired more than 300 from the Sitel Academy training graduates.

To achieve sustainable growth in any location particularly in Tarlac, Enriquez said the company needs to continuously partner with academic institutions to enhance the skills of teachers and their knowledge of the industry, thereby enabling their graduates to meet the company’s minimum hiring requirements.

Tarlac City Vice Mayor Genaro Mendoza said Tarlac is truly blessed with people and companies willing to invest in the city, making it a viable community for ventures that spell economic boost for the city and its people.

Mendoza said the city generates more revenues through the taxes paid by businesses while Tarlaqueños get job opportunities.

With the opening of Sitel’s latest expansion, Mendoza added Tarlaqueños are assured of decent and quality living with the jobs available.

He said Luisita is a favorite venue for investment especially by large companies and Tarlac is regarded as one of the fastest growing cities in the country.

Sitel said its growth is buoyed by the country’s business-friendly climate, large pool of readily available and trainable talents, reliable infrastructure and cost competitiveness.

At present, Sitel employs over 23,000 associates across centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Tarlac and Palawan.
