“Magandang Buhay” played host to a heartwarming story recently.
BRIA Homes, one of the leading housing developers in the Philippines, turned over the digital key to a brand-new house and lot to single father Ernesto Bauzon, the fourth winner in their “Magandang Buhay, Magandang Bahay” segment of ABS-CBN’s top-rating morning show “Magandang Buhay.”
The awarding took place in a Facebook live episode last August 14 featuring winner Ernesto Bauzon, his daughter Agnes, and BRIA Homes President and Chief Operating Officer Red Rosales.
“Magandang Buhay” hosts Jolina Magdangal, Melay Cantiveros-Francisco, and Karla Estrada disclosed in a conference call in its December 25, 2019 episode that Bauzon was chosen for his dedication to his three children. The tale of how the widowed father raised his children singlehandedly inspired viewers.
Upon submitting Ernesto’s story to the “Magandang Buhay, Magandang Bahay” segment, his daughter Agnes related why she thought her father deserved to win the brand-new BRIA home. “Sa tagal po niyang nag-alaga sa amin bilang momshie at popshie, na hanggang ngayon sobrang dedicated niya sa pag-aaruga sa mga apo niya, napakahalagang magkaroon siya ng sariling bahay.”
Ernesto also thanked BRIA Homes and Magandang Buhay for choosing their family as their fourth house-and-lot winner. “Matagal ko na pong gustong magkaroon ng sariling bahay, magmula noong maliliit pa ang mga anak ko. Ngayong tuloy na tuloy na ang pagkakaloob ninyo ng bahay sa amin, masayang-masaya ako,” he stated.
It will be recalled that the awarding of the Bauzons’ new home was suddenly put off when lockdown and quarantine measures due to the pandemic were enforced. Now BRIA Homes is finally ready and waiting for them to move in.
In the live Facebook episode, BRIA Homes President Red Rosales presented a digital key to their new home in BRIA Homes Pampanga, an Elena end-unit model with a floor area of 22 square meters and a lot area of 54 square meters.
“Handang-handa na ang inyong BRIA Home; kayo na lang po ang hinihintay. Malugod po naming wine-welcome kayo sa BRIA Homes,” Rosales told the Bauzons after a digital tour of their new BRIA unit, which has been equipped with furniture in the living room, kitchen, and bedroom, including a brand-new air-conditioning unit.
