STARDOM seems to be finally within the grasp of Jin Macapagal, the winner of BidaMan in “It’s Showtime.”
Lily Monterverde of Regal Entertainment has chosen Jin to play one of the lead roles in “Us Again.” He joins Jane Oineza, RK Bagatsing and Sarah Edwards in the Joy Aquino movie.
Jin, 24, who hails from Cebu, appears as guest host in “It’s Showtime” and was also in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry, “The Mall, The Merrier.” “I never lost hope…,” said Jin.
“I’m grateful to Mother Lily for this chance. I’ll do my best na ‘di ako mapahiya sa kanya.”

“Us Again” is the second project of Jane and RK, who were together in the series, “Precious Hearts Romance Presents: Araw Gabi.”
The two play aggressive characters in the movie.
“This is a movie, after all,” they explain, “Kaya dapat lang na maging real ang romance namin dito. Kaya, this early pa lamang, we made sure we are comfortable with each other.”

Maymay Entrata and Edward Barbers will soon start work on a new series, “Heart to Heart.”
“We are not at liberty to discuss more about it,” said Maymay. “Basta, from the way it looks very promising ang series. Bagamat for me and Edward, baka mahirapan kami at first. Medyo romance-drama ito.”
The duo’s first project after their stint at PBB was the movie, “Loving in Tandem.” They also did a fantasy series, “Ikaw Ang Ghost-o Ko.”

She would not share how she and boyfriend Jam Ignacio plan to spend their special celebration.

Beauty queen-actress Ruffa Gutierrez refuses to divulge her secret to looking young.
The “Love Thy Woman” actress, however, denies she has gone under the knife.
“Otherwise, everyone would have known, dahil tiyak na i-a-announce ng mommy ko,” she said.
Her mom, Annabelle Rama, has never undergone any beauty procedure, too. This is the reason, according to the former actress, that her husband, Eddie Gutierrez, is so proud of her.
In any case, Ruffa gets to work with other stunning faces and amazing actors in “Love Thy Woman.”
“Answer to my prayers itong bago kong series. Lahat na yata ng hinahangaan kong mga artista, kasama ko dito,” she said. “And they are, my good friends Eula Valdez, Sunshine Cruz and Christopher de Leon.
“Kahit ang mga young stars na kasama are, in their own right, very talented. Imagine Kim Chiu, Yam Concepcion and Xian Lim! This is my first time to work with all three of them. At kahanga-hanga silang tatlo.”
She is also in awe of Zsa Zsa Padilla, of course, directors Jerry Lopez Sineneng and Andoy Ranay.
