SUN LIFE Philippines has launched its interactive mural designed by illustrator and muralist Jappy Agoncillo and outdoor gym called Bright Circuit that features eight different equipment.
The experience of viewing the mural levels up with the help of a mobile phone. When one goes to http://bit.ly/SLmural certain elements of the design come alive.
These are all designed to be fun, accessible and practical, said Maria Lourdes Lopa, Sun Life chief marketing officer, noting that such initiatives help Filipino clients achieve lifetime financial security and at the same time live healthier lives.
“For us, health and wealth must really go together and this is the formula we believe for a brighter life,” Lopa said.
The company has a range of options for health and accident insurance products: Sun First Aid, Sun FlexiLink Assist, Sun Maiden and Sun Maiden Plus, Sun Fit and Well, Sun Senior Care, and Sun LifeAssure.
Sun Life, which will mark its 125th year in the country in 2020, will continue to expand and launch products. Lopa said the company eyes to grow its distribution to 20,000 advisors nationwide, as many Filipinos need advisors for their finances and wellness. The company is client focused and looks out for one’s best interest.
“We are also committed to keeping our promise as well as have prudent business practices which allow us to stay (relevant) despite all the ups and downs,” Lopa said.
The company had about 1.5 million clients four years ago, out of a population of a hundred million, she noted.
“And four years ago, we also said that we really need to touch more lives by trying to reach 5 million clients by 2020,” she said. The company now has more than 4.7 million clients.
Meanwhile, Sun Life held the GoWell — its wellness community that promoted fit and active lifestyle — in Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, Laguna as part of its community work. It holds free community workouts every two months. Those who would like to join can sign up at gowell.com.ph to receive updates.
GoWell has about 15,000 members. Lopa hopes the company will encourage more people from Nuvali to have a healthy lifestyle.
Other initiatives such as Virtual Run, Resolution Run, CyclePH, and 5150 Triathlon are underway. Also, celebrity athlete Enchong Dee, the company’s brand ambassador, will help teach a number of underprivileged children to swim.
At the event, Dee said when he sees children playing with their parents or friends at the park, they create a generation of people who could enjoy outdoor fun, and it is rare that a company gets to make the first step in giving so others may benefit.
“It is one of the secrets why Sun Life stayed for a very long time,” he said, noting the company’s genuine care for its clients.
Dee urges the millennials to get insured to protect themselves and their families. “It would be much easier for them as this helps not to mind the hospital bills in case of unfortunate events,” he said.
Sun Life also has a product that can insure a financially challenged family for as low as P200. It is available thru Lazada, an online shopping and selling destination.
