Nick Vera Perez is proud of his second album, “NVP 1’s More.”
“NVP 1’s More” has an all original line-up. Launched last September 1, it is available on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes and Google Play.
The 12-track album is bannered by the carrier single, “Laging Ikaw.”
“The album contains Filipino and English songs, mainly about love. Pero ang twist ng album, lahat ng genre nandun. Pinapakita nun ang versatility ng isang NVP kasi may rock, may ballad, may easy listening, may contemporary, RnB, jazz, ballad at pop,” Nick said.
He said that his second album is better than the first.
“It has all original songs of Adonis Tabanda, but every time we collaborate, I tell him , ito yung feelings ko about the songs. Ito ‘yung mga ideas ko. Inayos niya ‘yung mga words.”
The other tracks are: “Sana Ako Na Lang,” “Nahuhumaling,” “Ikaw,” “Ako,” “Tayo,” “soaring High,” “I Will Be There,” “Running Into You,” “Napamahal Na Ako,” “Heaven Sent,” “Karamay Ka,” “Spend My Life With You” and “Laban Lang Tayo.”
At a recent press conference, Nick said he recorded the albums at CRC Legendary Sound, where some of the biggest recording artists, such as Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Chance The Rapper, Boyz 2 Men, pre-recorded their songs.
Nick revealed he has a Christmas album ready. It is his way of spreading some cheer during the pandemic.
“I need to record these songs because I always believe music changes our mood,” he said, “It always brings us to new grounds by helping cope with our problems, music should be done at this time.”
