NADINE Lustre truly impressed members of the entertainment press with the way she answered questions at the presscon of her new show,
“Your Moment,” where she is a judge of Boy Abunda and Billy Crawford.
She was articulate and also profound.
“I’m learning a lot from Tito Boy,” Nadine admitted. “Mabait at napakagaling niyang mentor. While we were rehearsing for the show, he kept advising me not to be conscious.
To just deliver everything, which, I think, is right.
“Let’s face it, parehong inglesero and very effective speakers sina Tito Boy and Billy. Kaya, may kakaibang kaba akong naramdaman, lalo na on the first day we were all together for the show,” she explained.
Nadine, Boy and Billy are part of ABS-CBN’s talent-reality show, which is a collaboration of ABS-CBN and Fritz Productions, a Dutch company.
Its hosts are Luis Manzano and Vhong Navarro.
“Kakaiba talaga ang ‘Your Moment’,” said Jun Jun Santiago, producer. “Each performance, for one, starts in black and white and bursts with lights and color as it progresses. Kaya, the judges, yes, they have to input their scores three times, using an emotion meter knob, with one as the lowest score, and ten the highest.
“And the acts will have to power through four competition levels in order to become one of the grand champions: Your First Moment, Your Moment of Choice, Your Moment of Power, and Your Grand Moment.
“Ganunpaman, huwag isnabin ang prizes, which we will, in time, announce,” Jun further state.
“Your Moment’s” grand world premiere will be on November 6.
Of Nadine, she admits “Your Moment” is why she wants to take a rest from acting.
She revealed she was offered the role in Viva Films’ Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2019 entry, “Miracle in Cell No. 7,” but she eventually begged off.
“She regrets it because it would have been her first time to work with Aga (Muhlach),” said a kibitzer “But as it is, she already appeared in two films this year: ‘Indak’ and ‘Ulan.’
Maybe that is why Viva Films, producer of ‘Miracle’ and where she is under contract, respected her decision.”
On the decision of her boyfriend, James Reid, to leave Viva Films, Nadine refused to comment. She also kept mum about James’ series with a Korean actress.

Viva Films has officially announced that Matteo Guidicelli will play the title role in “Pedro Penduko,” which Jason Paull Laxamana will direct.
Ramon Zamora, Janno Gibbs and Matt Evans have all played the role before. Before Matteo, it was James who offered the role.
“Sa rehearsals pa lamang for the action scenes in the movie, nasaktan na raw nang nasaktan si James,” said a kibitzer. “Na timing din ang desisyon niya not to do the movie anymore sa desisyon niya rin to no longer renew his contract with Viva Film.”
Pedro Penduko is an action-fantasy first serialized in Liwayway in the 70s.
“Nakakatuwang hanggang ngayon may followers pa ang series, na very popular in the late ‘70s,” a former staff of Liwayway said.
Pedo Penduko was a creation of komiks writer and illustrator, Francisco Coching.

“Alyanna lives in the US with her husband, a photographer,” Alissa’s friend stated.
