Nathan Studios, led by CEO Ria Atayde and owned by the Atayde family, reaffirms its commitment to groundbreaking content creation with the acquisition of acclaimed Japanese drama, “Monster.”

In collaboration with actress Lorna Tolentino and 888 Films International, Nathan Studios secured the rights to the critically acclaimed film directed by Hirokazu Kore-eda and awarded Best Screenplay at Cannes.

“Monster,” a significant departure for Kore-eda, features Ryuichi Sakamoto’s last musical composition, making it a tribute to his legacy. It premiered at the 76th Cannes Film Festival, competing for the Palme d’Or, and later released in Japan on June 2, 2023.
