Valerie Concepcion is now married.
The actress and Francis Sunga tied the knot at a garden wedding in Silang, Cavite on December 28.
Present at the intimate affair were friends Lara Quigaman and Rodjun Cruz, who just exchanged “I dos” with Diane Medina at the Manila Cathedral last December 21.
Francis is from Guam, where he works as a court clerk. It was a long-distance relationship for the two, but Francis made it a point to fly to the Philippines to be with Valerie.
Valerie has a 14-year-old daughter, Heather Fiona, from a previous relationship. She gave birth to at 16 years old.
As a single mom, Valerie had to work to support her daughter. “Kaya grateful ako sa mga producers ko who continue to give me work.”
At one time, she was a co-host in Willie Revillame’s game show. She was also part of “Kadenang Ginto.”
Valerie will soon appear in an afternoon series on ABS-CBN.

Kathry Bernardo and Daniel Padilla are doing a series this year.
Details are few, but the duo will be very busy for sure.
Daniel is set to do a movie with Charo Santos Concio, who was last seen in “Eerie” (2019) with Bea Alonzo.
What is keeping the actress busy is her work as ABS-CBN executive and her hosting of the long-running drama anthology, “Maalaala Mo Kaya.”
“And don’t forget,” she added, “I’m now a lola to three adorable kids girls.”
Charo dotes on granddaughters, Julia and Talia, and grandson Basti.

Viva Films big boss Vic Del Rosario and actor Aga Muhlach, who co-produced the top movie at the 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival, “Miracle in Cell No. 7,” treated its stars, production staff and promo team to a thanksgiving blowout at the Draft Restaurant, owner by singer Rico Blanco, at the Ayala Malls in Ortigas.
The group later received bonuses, which were just, according to cast member Joel Torre.
“Madadagdagan pa itong bonus naming habang nagtatagal pa ang showing ng movie,” Joel said, “Pataas pa nang pataas ang kita ng pelikula dahil sa magagandang reviews na lumalabas.
“True, kung sabagay, na napakaganda ng movie.”
Other cast members — JC Santos, Soliman Cruz, Jojit Lorenzo, John Arcilla and child actress Xia Vigor — were also at the party.
Charlene Gonzales, Aga’s wife, was there to support her husband.
Bela Padilla was absent because she was still in Japan. Mon Confiado had to rush to Cebu because of a sick relative.
Grinning from ear to ear were “Miracle” director Nuel Naval and scriptwriter Mel del Rosario.

Before the year ended, singer KZ (Katrina Zhenia) Tandingan got engaged to boyfriend of five years, TJ Monterde.
The two proudly showed their rings on their social media accounts.
A native of Digos, KZ rose to fame after winning the first season of “The X Factor Philippines” in 2012.
That same year, she won as best new artist at the Aliw Awards.
In 2018, she joined a singing contest in China, where Jessie J. won.
Last year, she was featured in “The Art of Ligaw” with Epy Quizon.
TJ stands for Titus John Monterde. He is a 30-year-old singer-songwriter who hails from Davao City.
He is a Polyeast artist and has several compositions to his name.
He wrote the love song, “Tulad Mo,” for KZ.
