LAGUNA’S Alexandra Mae Rosales will represent the Philippines at the 30th Miss Meso America International in El Salvador from March 13-20, 2022.

Binibining Pilipinas 2021 candidate Alexandra Mae Rosales, a native of Canlubang, Laguna, is returning to the pageant scene, this time on the international level.

Alex, as Rosales is fondly called, will be proudly wearing the Philippines sash and took to her official social media account to reveal the news in a post that read, “An opportunity of a lifetime. I am in full happiness to announce that the Philippines will have its comeback in @mesoamericainternational on their 30th celebration and I will be the one to raise our flag!”

Alex is no stranger to pageantry because aside from her Binibining Pilipinas 2021 stint, this 5’9 stunner with a degree in Tourism Management from Malayan College already stepped into the international pageant scene as the country’s delegate for Miss Southeast Asian Tourism Ambassadress in 2013 where she finished with a strong first runner-up placement.

She is being managed by Meg Perez of Megamodels Events and Talent Management and has been training for her pageant skills under Kagandahang Flores camp.

Her stint is courtesy of The Pageant Authority with Joselito Rojas as national director.

Designer Bessie Besana was instrumental in Alex’s selection by Rojas.

Miss Mesoamerica International was created in 1992 in El Salvador by Francisco Cortez, also the organizer of the national Miss El Salvador pageant, in honor of the historical Mayan culture in the region. The pageant was originally called Miss Mesoamerica but eventually renamed Miss Mesoamerica International when it expanded to include other countries all over the Americas, and later on, worldwide.
