STARTING today, July 26, Honda Philippines, Inc., is unveiling one of the most-coveted models in its line-up, the all-new Click 160. The excitement for the new motorcycle came from social media posts of the popular scooter being released in Vietnam, where is it known as the Vario 160 and in Indonesia where it has an almost cult following.
“I am waiting for this bike to arrive in the Philippines,” says a social media post from a Honda scooter enthusiast. “But I am keeping my Click 150i,” the Facebook poster said in Tagalog.
The all-new Click 160 will replace the Click 150i as a mainstay of the Honda motorcycle brand. The 150i has become a favorite among Filipino riders. Featuring a revamped sporty design that closes the gap between a more premium and a bigger scooter. The 10cc displacement increase gives an extra oomph to the vehicle with the new generation 157cc, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, eSP+ engine producing a maximum power of 11.3 kW @ 8,500 rpm and a top torque of 13.8 Nm @ 7,000 rpm. Like the 150i it runs on the PGM-FI System producing a fuel efficiency of 46.7 km/L based on World Motorcycle Test Cycle Method.
Combined with agile handling and good maneuverability, The all-new Click 160 offers the stability and comfort needed for convenient daily commuting and leisure trips.
Reminiscent of bigger bikes, the dynamic design presents a pointy bodywork, complementing its updated Matte Brown Painted alloy wheels on a new and wider wheel design. With a well-proportioned height of 778 mm and ground clearance of 138 mm, the seat is quite wide and ultra-comfortable, which makes long-hour journeys enjoyable with a pillion rider.
The Honda scooter also features the rigid Enhanced Smart Architecture Frame. With its advanced motorcycle suspension featuring a telescopic front and unit swing at the rear, look forward to better performance and irresistible sporty character. Along with Combined Brake System (CBS) and Idling Stop System (ISS), every ride is made safer, smoother, and more responsive. It also has a Premium 3D Emblem, New Sporty Muffler Design, and Park Brake Lock. These and more instantly elevates its outgoing, sporty vibe in all the right places.
The all-new Click 160 also offers a new USB charger, a Full Digital Panel Meter, an all LED Lighting System to clearly light the way that comes with the new headlight and taillight design, and a large luggage box to store personal items with excellent space efficiency. Worth mentioning as well is its Honda Smart Key System, which includes an answer-back and anti-theft alarm feature. Long-time riders swear that this is considered one of the highly-important features of a worry-free road trip.
The all-new Click 160 will be available in three color variants. Matte Pearl Crater White, Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, and Matte Solar Red Metallic for a statement ride with a suggested retail price of P116,900.
