GMA leads in video views

GMA Network Inc. is leading in total video views across all advertising-based video on demand (AVOD) platforms in June.

GMA Network said it bested other local media companies in June, tallying more than 3.8 billion total video views across all platforms — Facebook, Tiktok, YouTube and Twitter.

Overall, it ranked 16th on the Tubular Leaderboard Worldwide Rankings, which include global content giants such as Walt Disney, Moonbug, Paramount and Warner Bros.

Metrics for tubular rankings include views, engagement rate, social media shares and subscriber growth across all AVOD platforms.

On Facebook, GMA emerged on top with a total of 2.4 billion video views, leading over ABS-CBN Corp. with 1.6 billion views for the said period.

It also dominated TikTok with 754 million video views versus ABS-CBN’s 651 million.

In 2022, GMA Network said, its AVOD platforms outclassed other local media companies on Tubular Leaderboard Worldwide Rankings for the entire fourth quarter, ending the year at Number 17.

The network said it continues to boost its digital presence, producing programs and content that gain the support of its viewers across all online platforms in different parts of the world. – Myla Iglesias
