THRILLS know no age at Resorts World Manila (RWM) as the country’s premier entertainment and lifestyle destination celebrate Elderly Filipino Week this year by giving senior residents and Persons with disabilities (PWD) free tickets to the latest blockbusters on the silverscreen at its Newport Cinemas 2 and 4 from 11AM until 5PM on October 1 and 2.

The move, which is in partnership with Megaworld Lifestyle Mall’s Newport Cinemas, further stamps RWM’s position as one of the foremost family staycation places in the metro with eight acclaimed hotel brands, an upscale Newport Mall, a performing arts theater, a grand ballroom, and over 70 dining outlets.

The 2-day special promo is open to all senior citizens and PWDs who can present their government-issued IDs at the counters of Newport Cinemas 2 and 4. Proxies or letters with authorization upon presentation of the IDs will not be honored.

Senior citizens and PWDs who want to avail of free movie tickets can also watch multiple movies within the 11AM to 5PM screening times, but must finish movies prior to claiming the next ones. Accommodations for screenings are also subject to availability of seats and will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. Regular ticket prices apply to any companion of the seniors or PWDs.

“Elderly Filipino Week” is observed every first week of October pursuant to Proclamation No. 470 to promote the well-being of over 3.4 million senior Filipinos.
