Dimples Romana, whose character Daniela Bartolome in Kadenang Ginto had a thousand memes, joins CDO-Foodsphere as the latest celebrity endorser of its ASF-free products.
“Nakaka-inspire that a company like CDO would get me as an endorser,” the 34-year-old character actress says.
Dimples confesses that she felt even prouder to be part of the CDO family when she learned about its humble beginnings and how a mother who started the business to feed her family is now providing millions of Filipino families with safe and nutritious food products.
With all the headlines about ASF (African Swine Fever), Dimples is naturally curious about the safety of CDO products.
“Bilang nanay, curious tayo. Ang credibility ng isang produkto o kumpanya, malalalaman mo kung gaano na sila katagal,” she says.
With CDO, Dimples feels safe. “Sa dami-dami ng pinag-daanan nila, alam na nating lahat na when it comes from CDO, it’s actually ASF-safe,” she says.
In an official statement, CDO-Foodsphere assured the public and its customers that all its products are safe because their meats, whether canned or frozen, are sourced and imported from ASF-free countries.
CDO products undergo strict inspection, are cleared by the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) and registered by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), a guarantee that they are of high quality and safe from ASF.
As a member of the Philippine Association of Meat Processors, Inc. (PAMPI), CDO is one with its co-members in supporting the government’s efforts to “contain and eradicate” ASF in the Philippines.
CDO guarantees that the well-being of its customers will always be at the heart of everything that they do.
Dimples agrees, saying: “CDO has been part of our family for the longest time and it is more than just great products. With its commitment in keeping its products ASF-safe, mas lalo ako naging proud to endorse it.”
