BRITISH Petroleum (bp) has selected Bentley Systems’ AssetWise Asset Lifecycle Information Management (ALIM) and AssetWise Reliability (AR) solutions for enterprise-wide asset information management. This collaboration marks a significant expansion of bp’s existing relationship with Bentley Systems, building upon the successful implementation of AssetWise ALIM as bp’s Central Information Store (CIS) since 2019.
The implementation of AssetWise ALIM across all projects, production, and manufacturing assets will enable bp to standardize its asset information management processes, ensuring consistency and accuracy throughout the asset lifecycle. This standardization will streamline workflows, improve decision-making, and reduce costs associated with managing and maintaining asset information.
The integration of AssetWise Reliability with AssetWise ALIM will further bolster bp’s asset integrity management capabilities. AssetWise Reliability provides advanced tools for optimizing inspections, minimizing maintenance costs, increasing asset availability, and enhancing safety and risk management. By leveraging these capabilities, bp can proactively identify and address potential asset failures, ensuring the reliability and longevity of its critical infrastructure.
