Survey results showed that that 51 percent of the respondents agreed that “former president Rodrigo Duterte should be held accountable for the killings related to illegal drugs during his administration.”
On the other hand, 25 percent disagreed, 14 percent were undecided, and 10 percent said that they don’t know enough about the issue to give an opinion.

A near majority from Luzon, 0r 49 percent, also agreed; while 47 percent from Mindanao and 45 percent from the National Capital Region shared the same opinion.
Stratbase president Dindo Manhit said the survey results highlight the importance of accountability for majority of Filipinos.
“Accountability is the bedrock of any democratic society. No leader, regardless of position or influence, should be above the law. Holding government leaders accountable is not about political vendetta; it is about ensuring that justice prevails in our country,” he said.
