This is part of the company’s waste management program, Juan Goal for Plastic (JGFP), which was launched last July 2022.
JGFP is a Gokongwei Group-wide plastic waste management program that aims to help keep plastics away from nature through collection and recycling. URC piloted the program in La Carlota City, and now has seven collection sites in communities within Luzon and Visayas. As part of its long-term commitment to achieve plastic neutrality, the food manufacturing company is looking to launch more collection sites nationwide.
