Filinvest Land, Inc. (FLI) showcased its firm commitment to environmental sustainability through its active participation at the 12th Cebu City-Wide Cleanup Challenge, launched on June 10 at South Road Properties, Cebu City.
“At FLI, we believe that protecting the planet is essential in creating sustainable communities. By supporting this city-wide event, we are showing our commitment to be a responsible developer,” said Mitch Dumlao, FLI business head for the Malls Division.
FLI employees and Il Corso tenant representatives volunteered for the city-wide event, along with representatives from the Cebu City local government unit, Department of Public Works and Highways, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Cebu City Coastal Management Task Force, and Task Force Gubat sa Baha.
The 12th Cebu City-Wide Cleanup Challenge was launched at Il Corso, FLI’s Lifemall located on Cebu South Coastal Road in South Road Properties.
“Il Corso has become an oasis of ‘chill energy’ with its wide array of restaurants that face a breathtaking view of the Cebu Strait. We want to preserve this experience by ensuring that the coast is trash-free,” said Gigi Sanchez, Il Corso general manager.
Il Corso forms part of the Filinvest Lifemalls brand, which in 2020 launched ECO Movement: Sustainable Everyday, a sustainability campaign that forms part of FLI’s commitment to the environment.
