The streets of Del Carmen and General Luna in Surigao Del Norte are now lit up with solar-powered streetlights, thanks to a donation made by EEI Corp. through AY Foundation.
EEI, an affiliate of the Yuchengco Group of Companies , turned over 40 solar-powered streetlights to help residents of the two areas in their rebuilding process from the devastation caused by Typhoon Odette.

The donation is part of the company’s continuing community engagement activities through AY Foundation.
