A NEW super app designed specifically for pet owners and animal lovers has arrived in the Philippines. Developed by TechForce Solutions, Inc. in partnership with ePLDT, “Unleash” offers a comprehensive platform with features ranging from e-commerce and social networking to an information hub, all aimed at simplifying and enhancing the pet ownership experience.

Chie Malaki, President of TechForce Solutions, Inc., highlighted the personal inspiration behind the app. “As pet owners ourselves, there are a lot of things that we wish we had known sooner rather than later in terms of taking care of our pets,” Malaki shared. “Unleash is created really with pets and pet owners in mind, truly a revolutionary app in this age of digitalization.”

The app leverages Huawei Cloud services, thanks to ePLDT’s role as Huawei Cloud’s first Core Partner in the Philippines. This allows Unleash to seamlessly integrate various features and optimize performance. ePLDT deployed Huawei Cloud’s Content Delivery Network (CDN) solutions to ensure fast website load times, high-quality video streaming, and optimized download speeds.

Victor S. Genuino, President and CEO of ePLDT, emphasized the importance of their multi-cloud expertise in tailoring solutions to customer needs. “TechForce wanted to create a super app for the pet owners’ community in the Philippines and Huawei Cloud with its end-to-end solutions was the perfect enabler for the Unleash app,” Genuino said.   

Unleash also utilizes Huawei Cloud’s Elastic Cloud Server (ECS) and Object Storage Service (OBS) for flexible deployment, robust security, scalable storage, and efficient backup and recovery capabilities. This collaboration between TechForce and ePLDT showcases the potential of cloud technology in enhancing everyday experiences, even in the realm of pet ownership.
