THE weekly Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum resumes today focusing on what’s next for the Shakey’s Super League and the coming Philippine Women’s Chess Championship grand finals.
Athletic Events and Sports Management Inc. president Doc Ian Laurel and ACES chairman Philip Ella Juico will talk about the group’s coming projects following the success of the just concluded Shakey’s Super League Collegiate Pre-Season Championships.
Some members of the National University Lady Bulldogs who won the championship via an eighth-game sweep of the tournament are also gracing the face-to-face session at the ground floor of the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex that starts at 10 a.m.
National Chess Federation of the Philippines Chief Executive Officer Jayson Gonzales and Women Grandmaster Janelle Mae Frayna will discuss the grand finale of the National Women’s Chess Championship set Nov. 29 to Dec. 7.
The weekly public sports program is presented by San Miguel Corp., Milo, Philippine Sports Commission, Philippine Olympic Committee, and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp.
