JUST before the first serve of the Italy-Bulgaria final, Brazilian volleyball great Leila Barros, along with FIVB President Fabio Azevedo, announced that the Volleyball Women’s World Championship will be hosted by the Philippines in 2029.
Members of the Alas Pilipinas women’s squad were in attendance at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay when the announcement was made.
