BRINGING their leadership savvt and firepower to their newest team, aces Ces Molina and Ria Meneses have found a new home in the PVL—the Farm Fresh Foxies.
The Alessandro Lodi-mentored Foxies announced on Tuesday night their acquisition of Molina and Meneses who made a shocking exit with their former team earlier this year.
Molina, a 2023 PVL Invitational Conference MVP, expressed excitement to be back on the court after six months along with Meneses.
“It’s nice to have a new opportunity. It’s a fresh start for me and the thought of it excites me,” the outside spiker Molina said. “Breadwinner din kasi ako. And now na makakalaro na ulit sa PVL, tuloy lang sa pagtulong sa family which is very important din for me.”
Three-time PVL Best Middle Blocker Meneses is also thrilled to play again and be with her former teammate Rachel Anne Daquis.
“Passion kasi namin ito kaya happy na maglalaro na kami ulit after months,” Meneses said. “Looking forward ako makalaro ulit sila Ate Rachel and at the same time, makasama for the first time iyong ibang players. Sana makatulong ako lalo sa mga bata.”
Molina and Meneses parted ways with the Cignal HD Spikers in January or in mid-season of the All-Filipino Conference, ending a three-year stint with the squad.
The duo, aside from Daquis, will also reunite with their former Cignal teammates Jheck Dionela and Alohi Robins-Hardy.
In addition, Molina and Meneses will be also working side by side with Jolina Dela Cruz, Trisha Tubu, Louie Romero, Caitlyn Viray, Lorene Toring, Ann Monares and more.
The addition of the two veterans will be a huge boost for the Foxies’ bid as Farm Fresh has yet to reach the semifinals in any of the PVL conferences since joining the league in 2023.
