“Worth it iyong pagod so preparation naming, especially ‘yung next game which is against Adamson. Malaking motivation din sa mga bata and, of course, gusto rin naming improve pa ‘yung kulang kasi ang marami pa ring lapses. Dapat mai-eliminate namin ‘yung mga errors na ganun,” said FEU mentor Tina Salak.

The Lady Tamas are to tussle with the Shaina Nitura-led Adamson Lady Falcons this Saturday at the same venue.

The Lady Tamaraws showed their artillery in both attacks and services, firing a total of 42 spikes and seven service aces to bury their foes in one hour and 29 minutes.

After taking a 20-13 lead in the third set, the Lady Tams somewhat relaxed and allowed the Lady Warriors to close in at 19-22 after three straight attacks from Khy Cepada.

But Petallo took FEU to match point at 24-20 before setter Tin Ubaldo finished the match with a service ace.

The Lady Warriors were led by Cepada and Van Bangayan, who both tallied 14 markers.
