THE Cignal HD Spikers will be without their two main guns in the resumption of the PVL All-Filipino Conference next week.
Veterans Ces Molina and Riri Meneses have parted ways with the team after three years as Cignal opted not to renew their contracts.
The duo’s agency, Avior Talent Management announced yesterday the split between the two sides while also expressing gratitude for Cignal for the support and opportunities given to the players.
“Ces Molina, Marivic Meneses, and Avior Talent Management extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Cignal HD Spikers management for the unwavering support and opportunities provided to Frances Xinia Molina and Marivic Meneses over the past three years,” Avior Talent Management said.
“Your dedication and guidance have been instrumental in shaping their careers and leaving a legacy of excellence. Thank you for being an incredible part of their journey.”
Both the outside hitter Molina and middle blocker Meneses played key roles for the HD Spikers since their arrival in 2022.
They helped Cignal capture two runner-up finishes and five bronze medals in eight conferences.
Molina bagged the MVP award in the 2023 Invitational Conference, while Meneses copped two Best Middle Blocker plums in the 2022 Open Conference and the 2023 Second All-Filipino Conference.
