FANCIED Creamline has hit the ground running for the PVL Reinforced Conference slated next month, tapping American import Courtney Schawn.

The reigning tournament champions unveiled the acquisition of the 29-year-old Schwan for the import-laden meet, hoping to give their title-retention a big boost.

The outside spiker from Washington recently helped the Orlando Valkyries win the Major League Volleyball championship.

In addition to playing in the United States, the 6-foot-2 Schawn also has international experience, having played in various countries like Italy, Greece and France.

The Cool Smashers will be leaning on Schwan to snap a title drought since capturing the elusive Grand Slam last year.

Creamline settled for second place in the 2024-2025 All-Filipino Conference, then finished with back-to-back bronze medals in the On Tour and Invitational tilts.

The belles of coach Sherwin Meneses are expected to be more lethal in the Reinforced Conference, with Alas Pilipinas skipper and setter Jia De Guzman expected to return.

The Cool Smashers will also be banking on veteran Alyssa Valdez, Michele Gumabao, Jema Galanza, Pangs Panaga and others to regain lost glory.
