PETRO Gazz soared to its seventh straight win, making short work of Capital1 25-19, 25-18, 25-9 last night in the PVL All-Filipino Conference at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.

The Angels rose to 8-1 thanks to veteran spiker Myla Pablo who fired 14 points while Brooke Van Sickle contributed 13 markers, nine digs and three excellent receptions.

Petro Gazz has two more remaining matches in the eliminations before the qualifying round as it will face Galeries Tower Highrisers on Saturday, Feb. 15, at the Ynares Cente in Antipolo then will battle Nxled on Feb. 22.

Heather Guino-o paced the Solar Spikers (1-9) with eight points and five digs.
