The 5-foot-9 open spiker produced a number of 20-point plus performances in their first three matches in the first round of eliminations.

Dongallo scored 27 points in their victorious match against the Ateneo Blue Eagles, scored 23 in a losing effort to the UST Golden Tigresses, and recorded a new UAAP mark in the women’s division of 30 markers made by a freshman in their clash against the FEU Lady Tamaraws last Sunday.

Her 30-point outing surpassed the 28-marker performance set by reigning MVP Angel Canino of the defending champions La Salle Lady Spikers last year.

Dongallo gave credit to her teammates.

“Sa totoo lang po, hindi ko po iyon magagawa without her kasi kung wala po iyong tiwala ni Kizzie sa akin na kaya ko pumuntos ng ganun hindi ako makakakuha ng ganoon,” Dongallo said.

“I’m just thankful na iyong tiwala sa akin ni Kizzie na bigyan niya ko ng ganoon sets kadami kasi I can’t do that without her and also my other teammates,” she added.
