THE countdown for the 85th UAAP street dance competition is down to one day as it makes its return.
After getting mothballed the past four years due to the pandemic, the street dance competition will be back tomorrow, Saturday, at the Mall of Asia Arena.
This will be the last event of the UAAP for its 85th Season.
Dance crews from the participating schools have primed up, ready to fight for glory, against reigning champion La Salle Dance Company.
Back in 2019, during the league’s 81st season, La Salle seized the street dance competition crown, dethroning the Far Eastern University Street Alliance.
FEU’s Street Alliance settled for second while the National University Dance Company completed the podium finishers.
With its win, La Salle Dance Company became the winningest dance troupe in the UAAP so far with four diadems.
