TNT 3×3 coach Mau Belen is on the war path.

Belen, armed with 18 titles overall– including a grand slam last season– is adamant the Triple Giga should don the country’s colors in international tourneys.

“Until the promised reward is given to us. Until the promise has been fulfilled, we won’t stop winning,” Belen said. “I mean no offense. The national team head coach (Lester Del Rosario of Pioneer) has won one grand final and no leg (titles).

“We won five grand finals and 13 leg titles. Kailangan mo na nga ng dalawang kamay para mabilang iyon,” she added.

Belen, the first woman tactician in the PBA, spoke after her charges repulsed Cavitex 21-18 last Sunday night to rule the Season 3 First Conference.

Although the TNT core of Almond Vosotros, Lervin Flores, and Samboy De Leon have already suited up for Gilas 3×3, the squad has yet to field a complete Triple Giga quartet and instead has tapped other players from other teams.

Vosotros, Flores, and De Leon were joined by Magnolia’s Joseph Eriobu in 2022. Last year, Vosotros and De Leon combined with Jorey Napoles and Brandon Bates.

Belen is not even part of the Gilas 3×3 coaching staff, which is led by Del Rosario.
