NATIONAL University – Sta. Elena tries to complete an elimination round sweep when it faces defending champion Cignal today in the Spikers’ Turf Open Conference at the Paco Arena.
The Nationals and the HD Spikers, both having qualifier for the semifinals, clash at 5:30 p.m. after Army-Kantinko takes on VNS-One Alicia at 2:30.

With Ateneo-Fudgee Barr already out of contention with a 1-5 card, the Griffins, with a 2-3-mark, Troopers and Lions, with identical 1-4 slates, will fight for the last Final Four slot.
NU-Sta. Elena blasted the Blue Eagles 25-14, 25-16, 25-19 last Saturday for their fifth straight win.
“Siyempre masusubukan talaga iyong team namin ngayon kung hanggang saan na kami kasi ito naman iyong hinihintay namin na makalaban talaga namin iyong club team na buo, na alam namin na may direksyon iyong team nila,” Nationals coach Dante Alinsunurin said.
“Lalaban kami, ibibigay namin talaga iyong best namin,” he added.
Michaelo Buddin, Nico Almendras, Mukaba Obed, Jenngerard Diao, and team captain Joshua Retamar are expected to lead NU-Sta. Elena.
