SINAG Liga Asya’s fledgling “Lakas 40” third season gets going on Nov. 16, Saturday, at the SM Southmall Events Hall in Las Piñas.
“It’s getting more exciting and the competition in ‘Lakas 40’ is getting tougher with all the teams busy in their preparation to put up competitive squads,” SLA chairman Rocky Chan said. “Dating papawis lang ngayong nakilala na sa buong mundo na ang mga 40-up ay may ibubuga pa,” he added.
The first SLA team owners meeting was held last Saturday at Eurotel Alabang courtesy of Ala and Edward Salvador of Fulitech.
“These are the 10 official and regular team members of the league that have committed to the SLA for the next three years starting this Nov. 16 as we launch Season 3 of SLA “Lakas 40”,” the amiable Chan said of the tourney that has Fulitech, Converge, Sunsport, J Project Clothing, Hotel SOGO, SM Southmall, Starbalm, and Sports Care as sponsors with Cablelink, Blast TV, Tap Sports, and Fiber TV as broadcast partners.
Present during the gab were Ala and Edward Salvador of the Saints Fulitech, IT Depot X Tela’s Victor Epres, Angelo San Jose of Firechief Fire Extinguisher, Jesse Celestial of the JC2 Architect Studio Slashers, Sealions 3H VPD Trading’s Francis Claverol and Katherine Laron, Magnificent Manila’s Odick Reyes, Paul Dela Cruz, and Vincent Isip, Alvin Lugo of San Pedro Mamba X Razon, Joey Valencia and Ernest Medina of Exile, Skytrack Aviation Services’ Jesse Hje and Jericho Damian, and Samuel Buenviaje and Crisostomo Escuyo of Wifi Party-list/Red Arc.
Game days are set every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Admission is free.
