ANTHONY Davis recorded 41 points and 11 rebounds, LeBron James added 22 points and 12 assists, and the Los Angeles Lakers won consecutive games for the first time in over a month with a 132-131 victory over the visiting Toronto Raptors on Tuesday (Wednesday in Manila).
Christian Wood scored 14 points and Cam Reddish added 13 as the Lakers won for just the fifth time in 15 games since winning the NBA’s inaugural in-season tournament last month.
Taurean Prince, Austin Reaves and D’Angelo Russell each scored 11 points for the Lakers, who shot 54.3 percent from the field.
Scottie Barnes scored 26 points and Pascal Siakam added 25 as the Raptors fell to 3-2 since RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley were added to the mix following a trade with the New York Knicks. Barrett scored 23 points and Quickley added 21 before he fouled out in the fourth quarter.

Domantas Sabonis notched a triple-double with 37 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds and visiting Sacramento defeated Detroit.
Keegan Murray supplied 32 points and De’Aaron Fox had 26 for the Kings, who finished the game on a 30-9 run. Malik Monk sparked Sacramento off the bench with 20 points and nine assists.
Bojan Bogdanovic led the Pistons with 26 points, while Jaden Ivey had 22 points and six assists. Jalen Duren added 16 points and 10 rebounds. Detroit, which has lost five straight, was playing for the first time since it learned that leading scorer Cade Cunningham would miss time with a left knee strain.

Karl-Anthony Towns scored 28 points on 11-for-19 shooting and Minnesota cruised to a win over host Orlando.
Rudy Gobert registered a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds for Minnesota, which bounced back from a loss against the Dallas Mavericks two nights earlier. Jaden McDaniels finished with 15 points, and Naz Reid posted a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Moritz Wagner scored 21 points on 6-for-9 shooting off the bench to lead Orlando. Jalen Suggs tallied 20 points and Paolo Banchero scored 18.
