THE Premier Volleyball League has extended the application deadline for its inaugural rookie draft to June 12.
The move was made in response to the overwhelming number of applicants requesting additional time to secure the necessary supporting documents, including a PSA-issued birth certificate and letters of recommendation.
PVL Commissioner Sherwin Malonzo expressed understanding and support for the applicants’ needs, saying: “Since this is the first-ever draft event for the PVL, many applicants have requested more time to compile their necessary documents.

“We want to ensure that all aspiring players have the opportunity to participate in this historic event, and extending the deadline will help achieve that.”
