PLDT will be ready for the PVL All-Filipino Conference even without star middle blocker Mika Reyes.
High Speed Hitters coach Rald Ricafort revealed last Monday that Reyes will sit out the season-opening tourney after she underwent an operation on a nagging shoulder injury.

“Si Mika, nagre-rehab,” Ricafort said. “Ngayong conference? Hindi, hindi siya makakalaro.
She underwent an operation. Same pa rin ng dati.”
Although PLDT will miss the services of Reyes, the High Speed Hitters can rely on their newly acquired middle hitter Majoy Baron.
Baron is one of the five new additions of PLDT along with Kianna Dy and Kim Fajardo from the defunct F2 Logistics Cargo Movers and Shiela Kiseo and Kiesha Bedonia from Far Eastern University.
