THE Asian Volleyball Confederation has awarded the Philippines a third slot in the inaugural AVC Women’s Champions League.
The slot was given to the PLDT High Speed Hitters.
“Happy namannamasamakasi higher level of competition. Maramingmatututunan at makukuhang experience,” said High Speed Hitters coach RaldRicafort.
The competition is scheduled to run from April 20 to 27, 2025, at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.
The High Speed Hitters received the allocation after finishing fourth in the PVL All-Filipino Conference, where they advanced to the quarterfinals.
They will join the Creamline Cool Smashers and the Petro Gazz Angels as the country’s representatives.
“We’ll do our best to represent PLDT and our country lalonanatayoang host,” added Ricafort.
Also confirmed for the tournament are Thailand’s NakhonRatchasimaQminC and Vietnam’s VTV BìnhĐin Long An.
The drawing of lots to determine match schedules and groupings was held yesterday.
