PERPETUAL Help bolstered its semifinals bids and continued to show the way in the 98th NCAA women’s and men’s beach volleyball tournament.
The two Perpetual teams extended their winning streaks to six yesterday at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Zambales.
The Perpetual duo of Mary Dapol and Janine Padua made short work of Emilio Aguinaldo College 21-7, 21-12 in the morning match to rise to 6-0.
The Lady Generals bounced back and blanked Mapua University 22-20, 21-16 later to improve to 5-1.
In men’s action, Perpetual also continued its dominance, stretching its winning run to six.
Louie Ramirez and Jefferson Marapoc handed EAC its first defeat 21-15, 21-14 to move to 6-0.
Earlier, Arellano notched two victories in their morning battles and climbed to 5-1.
The Chiefs demolished Jose Rizal University 21-11, 21-16 and then blasted Lyceum 21-11, 21-18.
